The University of Leeds is internationally renowned for its research
and graduate programs. Orit has received her MA in Arts,
upon completing her Masters Thesis paper with honors.
The Masters program focuses on advanced study and research of
contemporary fine arts, sociology and politics and aesthetics.
1986-1990
Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Orit enrolled in the Academy in 1986, receiving a full scholarship.
She majored in painting and printmaking, and was awarded a
private studio by the Academy.
Orit won several awards and prizes, among them: The prestigious William
Emllen Cresson
Traveling Scholarship, including a seventy-day trip to the art treasures
of Europe,
and an additional year's tuition at the Academy.
1981-1985
Canadian Hadassah Wizo School of Design.
Haifa, Israel.
Orit studied graphic design, and continued her pursuit and
interest in fine arts.
While learning a variety of crafts, she focused and excelled in drawing,
painting and printmaking.
During this period of studies, Orit continued to work in her own studio. |
